Energy Mizer Inc., a pesticide manufacturer headquartered in Farmington, UT, produces an antimicrobial pesticide product called Sanitizer 2000. This facility was inspected May 14, 2014 by an EPA inspector. As part of completing the inspection report a thorough label review revealed that the label was misbranded. On January 13, 2016, Region 8 issued a Stop Sale, Use and Removal Order(SSURO) to Energy Mizer Inc. ordering the company to stop selling and distributing the misbranded pesticide. Additionally, the SSURO informed Energy Mizer Inc. that they did not have a supplemental distribution agreement in place with the registrant.
