Respondent arranged for disposal or treatment at the Mercury Refining Superfund Site, or arranged with a transporter for transport for disposal or treatment at the Site, of a hazardous substance owned or possessed by the Respondent. EPA estimates the total response costs incurred and to be incurred at or in connection with the Site by the EPA Hazardous Substance Superfund and by other persons is approximately $18.3 million. The respective payment required to be made by the Respondents pursuant to the Settlement Agreement is a minor portion of the total amount.
