Maryland Pig Iron violated Illinois SIP regulations prohibiting fugitive dust crossing a property line. At a facility inspection on September 9, 2014, ARD inspectors observed fugitive dust originating from Maryland Pig Iron's facility crossing the property line.
This ACO requires Maryland Pig Iron to comply with a fugitive dust plan that will require the facility to frequently water roads in and around the facility, and addresses the violations set forth in the NOV issued to Maryland Pig Iron on March 11, 2015.
