On March 28, 2016, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order with Gateway Parks to resolve violations of the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants for asbestos (asbestos NESHAP) resulting from the demolition of multiple buildings in Boise, Idaho. Region 10 alleged that the demolition project started without an asbestos notification to EPA as required by the asbestos NESHAP. The respondent agreed to pay a $10,000 penalty.
