This Administrative Settlement Agreement and Order on Consent is entered into voluntarily by the United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) and The Dow Chemical Company. This agreement provides for Dow's performance of a non-time critical removal action selected by U.S. EPA. and the payment of certain response costs incurred by the United States oat or in connection with addressing sediment and riverbank soil contaminated with dioxins and furans within Segment 3 of the Tittabawassee River, Saginaw River & Bay site.
