This is a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CA/FO) between U.S. EPA and Guam Industrial Services, Inc (Respondent) for Respondent's alleged violations of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) at its ship repair facility located on the former U.S. Ship Repair Facility (SRF) Naval Base Guam (aka Guam Shipyard), in Santa Rita, Guam. Respondent is required to pay a civil administrative penalty of $44,893, and perform a Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP), valued at over $249,000, to remove and dispose an abandoned derelict vessel in Apra Harbor, Guam. The facility will utilize their own floating dry dock and personnel to complete the removal.
