On July 27, 2016, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement to resolve Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) violations at the Pacific Northwest Terminals facility in Tacoma, Washington that occurred in August, 2015. The facility was lacking elements required in an SPCC plan and did not have adequate secondary containment or integrity testing for its bulk storage containers at the time of inspection. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $2,350 and correct the violations within 60 days.
