In April 2016, Region 10 filed an ESA against Leviton Manufacturing Company Inc. in Bothell, Washington. The ESA was for $5,000. The facility qualified for ESA instead of the traditional enforcement policy because they had less than 1,500 pounds of sulfuric acid stored on-site. The ESA resolves violations of the hazardous substances inventory reporting requirements of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act.
