On February 11, 2016 a CAFO was issued to Reptile Tannery of Louisiana, Inc. for violations of RCRA discovered during an investigation and record review of Tannery's performance as a generator of hazardous waste. During the period of January 2011 - May of 2015, it was discovered that in a period of 2011-2015, hazardous wastes were generated in quantities that exceeded the facility's generator status. Reptile Tannery of Louisiana, Inc. is Ordered to pay an assessed penalty of $58,384.00 and to establish compliance with the requirements of RCRA.
