On May 2, 2016 Region 1 files a Consent Agreement and Final Order resolving Clean Water ( CWA ) violations at Winkle Bus Company of New Haven, Inc.'s school bus service facility in West Haven, Connecticut. The filed Consent Agreement and Final Order ( CAFO ) details violations under Sections 301(a), 308, and 311(j) of the CWA.
The Region documented these violations during an unannounced inspection of the Site on April 9, 2015. After the inspection, the company acted promptly to bring its facility into compliance of the CWA. The company has agreed to pay a $31,000 penalty to resolve this matter.
