On May 10, 2016, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to Section 112(r)(1) of the Clean Air Act to Lone Star Bakery, Inc., located in China Grove, Texas. The CAFO was issued for failure to follow operating procedures in violation of 40 C.F.R. ? 68.69(a)(3)(ii). The CAFO requires Lone Star Bakery, Inc., to pay a penalty of $30,000.00 to EPA Region 6 in twelve monthly installments of $2,500.00 over the course of one year, beginning June 1, 2016.
