On July 7, 2016, EPA issued a consent agreement and final order to Pomeroy Grain Growers Inc. (Pomeroy, Washington) to resolve Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) violations regarding the distribution of the misbranded pesticide RT3 Powered by Roundup Technology (EPA Reg. No. 524-544). Distributing or selling misbranded pesticides is a violation of Section 12(a)(1)(E) of FIFRA, 7 U.S.C. 136j(a)(1)(E). Pomeroy agreed to pay a $3,600 fine.
