This facility was in violation of Massachusetts Underground Storage Tank (UST) regulations for : lack of overfill prevention, improper closer of an UST system, and not maintaining records.  A field citation was issued requiring the city to correct the violations in accordance with state regulations. As a result, work was performed at two additional facilities within the Chicopee Safety Complex which included the removal of six USTs.
