On May 19, 2016, Region 10 ratified an Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) with SMG Equipment LLC (SMG) resolving violations of Title II of the CAA. In March 2016, SMG imported 4 uncertified pieces of equipment. SMG paid a civil penalty and documented that the equipment was exported outside of the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
