On May 26, 2016, EPA Region 6 issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order (CAFO) under its authority pursuant to sections 113(a)(3) and 113(d)(1)(B) of the Clean Air Act, as amended
(Act or CAA), 42 U.S.C. Sec. 7413(a)(3) and 7413(d)(1)(B), to Sem-Gas LP located in Sherman, Texas. The CAFO was issued in response a violation of the general duty clause in section 112(r)(1) of the CAA, 42 U.S.C. ? 7412(r)(1). The CAFO requires Sem-Gas LP to pay $37,500 within 30 days from the effective date of the signed CAFO.
