This case addresses violations of the Clean Air Act (CAA) by ( Eisenhart ), Eisenhart Diesel, LLC, an automotive repair shop located in New Oxford, Pennsylvania. On September 11, 2014, USEPA inspectors found that Eisenhart possessed one vehicle which had emissions control defeat devices installed by Eisenhart.
As part of the settlement with EPA, Eisenhart paid a $3,150 civil penalty and agreed to cease installing, purchasing or selling emission control defeat devices.
