On April 27, 2016, EPA Region 6 issued an Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) under its authority pursuant to Section 112(r)(7) of the Clean Air Act (CAA) to Flint Hills Resources Houston Chemical, LLC (FHR) located in Houston, TX. The ESA was issued in response to violations of 40 C.F.R. Part 68. The ESA requires FHR to pay a civil penalty of $750 to EPA Region 6 within 45 days.
