On April 19, 2016, EPA Region 6 issued a Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) under its authority pursuant to Section 112(r)(7) of the Clean Air Act (CAA) to the Longview Gas Plant located in Longview Gas Plant. The ESA was issued in response to violations of 40 C.F.R. Part 68 Risk Management Program. The ESA requires the Longview Gas Plant to pay a civil penalty of $2,700 to EPA Region 6 within 45 days.
