On August 25, 2016, the U.S. EPA issued a Consent Agreement and Final Order to Georgia-Pacific LLC located in Crossett, Arkansas for violations of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. An inspection was conducted by NEIC on February 3 - 12, 2016 and identified universal waste accumulated for more than one year and manifest violations. Georgia-Pacific LLC is required to achieve compliance with the regulation and to pay a penalty of $11,500.00.
