Sand from the washing process was allowed to fill in an adjacent lake and wetlands. As a result of this action, the wetlands and lake fringe will be restored, and additional mitigation will be performed to offset impacts.
Site was purchased by US Silica, who completed the restoration and came into compliance with the Order 3/10/21
