On August 24, 2016 Region 1 filed a consent agreement and final order (CAFO) resolving Clean Air Act (CAA) violations at Watts Regulator Co.?s brass foundry and valve manufacturing facility located in Franklin, New Hampshire. The CAFO alleges reporting violations of the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants Area Source Standards for Nine Metals Fabrication and Finishing Source Categories, and reporting and testing violations of the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Area Source Standards for Aluminum, Copper, and Other Nonferrous Foundries.
