On August 31, 2016, the Region entered into a Clean Water Act Administrative Order on Consent (Order) with the Town of Halifax, Massachusetts to address NPDES permit violations at the Town�s water treatment plant.  Under the terms of the Order, the Halifax Water Department will develop and implement a plan to meet the permit limits in its NPDES permit for total residual chlorine by November 30, 2016.
