EPA Region 10 is issued a Stop Sale, Use, or Removal Order (SSURO) to Indoor Garden and Lighting Inc. located in Tacoma, Washington, to prevent the distribution and sale of the products, Mega Roots, Cal-Magic, Carbon Jolt!, Armor Plant Wash, Mycor - Magic, and Megaton. These products are unregistered pesticides because the product labels contain pesticidal claims, yet the products are not registered with EPA under FIFRA Section 3. Furthermore, one of the products, Megaton, contains ingredients that have no significant, commercially viable use as distributed and sold, other than use for pesticidal purposes. EPA uses stop sale orders to prevent the sale, distribution, or use of unregistered pesticides or pesticides with incorrect or inadequate labels to prevent harm to the public and the environment from unsafe chemicals or products.
