Requesting DOJ initiate a civil judicial action against wastewater treatment facilities designed to treat domestic sewage sludge by operating sewage sludge incineration (SSI) units. The action would address violations of Sections 111 and 129 of the Clean Air Act. Requesting inclusion in a civil judicial action to accomplish a nationally consistent scheme for ensuring settlement with affected facilities and ensure effective control of emissions of hazardous air pollutants.
