On September 29, 2016, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) to St Joseph Water System (Respondent) located in St Joseph, Louisiana. The AO was issued in response to violations of the Ground Water Rule. The AO requires Respondent to correct the significant deficiencies within thirty days or submit a schedule as to when the significant deficiencies will be completed. St Joseph Water System must respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty days of receiving the AO.
