On December 15, 2016, Region 10 issued a compliance order on consent to resolve violations of the Clean Water Act. The City of Hagerman (Respondent), located in Hagerman, Idaho, operates a wastewater treatment facility. Respondent exceeded its NPDES permit limits for Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), total suspended solids (TSS), E. coli, total phosphorus, and pH. The terms of the compliance order will reduce the amount of pollutants discharged by the facility by ordering it to meet its NPDES permit limits or find alternatives to discharge.
