On December 9, 2016, EPA Region 10 settled with Larry Boyer Land & Cattle (Culdesac, Idaho) for violations of FIFRA. Boyer applied two pesticides in a manner inconsistent with their labeling by applying the pesticides in a way that caused contact with humans. The aerial application occurred on May 8, 9, 11, 14, and 15 in and around the town of Lapwai, Idaho, which is located on the Nez Perce Indian Reservation. The company agreed to pay a penalty of $1,760.
