On March 13, 2017, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order with Air-Tight Remodeling located in Richland, Washington to resolve violations of the Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule (RRP). EPA alleged that Air-Tight Remodeling failed to follow the recordkeeping requirement and lead-safe work practices as required by the RRP while performing renovation work on pre-1978 residential properties. Respondent agreed to pay a penalty of $2,903.
