On November 22, 2016, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA)to the Village of Fort Sumner Wastewater Treatment Plant (Respondent), located in De Baca County, New Mexico. The AO was issued in response to violations of Section 402 of the CWA. The AO requires Respondent to respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty days of the effective date of the AO.
