On November 22, 2016 EPA signed a Clean Water Act Administrative Order on Consent (AOC) with the Town of Johnston, Rhode Island. Under the terms of the AOC, the Town is required to identify and eliminate sewage from its overflows from its collection systems to implement a long term Capacity, Management, Operations and Management (CMOM) program.
