On 12/13/2016, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order (AO) under its authority pursuant to Section 309 of the Clean Water Act (CWA) to the City of Bloomfield Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) located in the City of Bloomfield, New Mexico. The AO was issued in response to violations of Sections 301 and 402 of the CWA. The AO requires the City of Bloomfield WWTP to respond to EPA Region 6 within thirty days of the date of the AO.
