On December 12, 2016, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Complaint (AC) under its authority pursuant to Section 1423(c) of the Safe Drinking Water Act to Xutapa Properties, LLC (Xutapa) located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The AC was issued because the company failed to complete corrective action to prevent fluid from moving through the well bores into underground sources of drinking water. Xutapa must respond to EPA Region 6 within 30 days after the effective date of a Final Order.
