On February 23, 2016, an EPCRA Section 313 inspection was conducted at the facility. Upon reviewing documents during and after the inspection, it was determined that the facility exceeded thresholds for polycyclic aromatic compounds (PACs) in their manufacturing process. The facility filed three late Form R reports for calendar years 2014, 2013, and 2012 for PACs. The 2014 Form R report was 362 days late. The 2013 and 2012 reports were over 1 year late. The proposed penalty is $21,200. After determining an inability to pay the total proposed penalty, the facility agreed to pay a penalty of $3,000 in a split payment.
