On September 5th, 2018, the U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania entered the Stipulation of Settlement and Order resolving the alleged Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) violations at the CertainTeed Lake Charles Polymer Plant in Westlake, Louisiana. Pursuant to the settlement, CertainTeed must pay a civil penalty of $365,500 within 30 days of the date the Stipulation of Settlement and Order is entered.
