On April 18, 2017, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order resolving violations of the Clean Water Act by Wood Brothers Trucking & Construction and Jason Carnahan. Wood Brothers Truck and Jason Carnahan were operators at a construction site without authorization under the NPDES Stormwater Construction General Permit. The inspection and subsequent enforcement action addressed the following: construction activities occurring after one operator's erosivity waiver expired, missed self-inspection reports, multiple occurrences of track-out on North Bogus Basin Road, and a silt fence needing maintenance. Correction of these deficiencies helps ensure that sediment from the construction site will not reach waters of the U.S. The operators agreed to pay a penalty of $7,500.
