On April 20, 2017, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement and final order resolving a violation of the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule under TSCA to Poehls Construction located in North Pole, Alaska. The EPA alleged violations included failing to obtain an initial firm certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency as required by the RRP Rule. Poehls Construction has agreed to pay a penalty amount of $200 to resolve the violation.
