On January 9, 2017, EPA Region 6 issued an Administrative Order on Consent under its authority pursuant to the Clean Air Act to Georgia-Pacific Chemicals Plant located in Crossett, AR. The AOC was issued in response to violations of the CAA and Risk Management Program regulations noted during the NEIC 2015 inspection. The AOC requires Georgia-Pacific to conduct an audit of the implementation of their Management of Change policy as well as review and improve procedures for tracking equipment repairs.
