On March 16, 2017, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement and final order with MD Restoration and Construction, Inc. located in Chabbuck, Idaho resolving a violation of the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule under TSCA. The EPA alleged violation included failing to obtain an initial firm certification from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency while performing renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property as required by the RRP Rule. The MD Restoration and Construction, Inc. has agreed to pay a penalty amount of $200 to resolve the violation.
