On May 1, 2017, Region 10 filed an expedited settlement agreement and final order with High Desert Building Services, LLC resolving violations of the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule under TSCA to in Meridian, Idaho. The Region violations included failure to obtain an initial firm certification from the EPA while performing renovation work on a pre-1978 residential property; and failure to retain all records for a period of three years following completion of the renovation activities as required by the RRP Rule. High Desert Building Services has agreed to pay a penalty amount of $2,000 to resolve the violations.
