## Summary

On January 19, 2017, EPA entered into an Administrative Settlement and Order on Consent for Removal Response Action, EPA Docket No. CERC-03-2017-0077DC (AOC), pursuant to Section 106(a) and Section 122 of CERCLA, in connection with the Coyne Textile Services Superfund Site (Site). The Site, located in Huntington, Wayne County, West Virginia, includes a 6.4-acre parcel (Property) at which dry cleaning and industrial laundry facilities operated from 1971 to 2006. Site soils and ground water emanating from the Site are contaminated with tetrachloroethylene (Perchloroethylene or  PCE ) and its chemical degradation products. Respondent is Aramark Uniform & Career Services, LLC, the successor to Means Services, Inc. Means owned and operated an industrial laundry facility/dry cleaning operation at the Property between 1971 and 1982, during the time hazardous substances were disposed of there. 

EPA commenced a removal action at the Site in early 2011 to mitigate threats posed from PCE and its degradation products found in soils on the Property, in groundwater migrating from the Property toward nearby residences, and in air within an industrial building (Building) on the Property. Pursuant to the AOC, Respondent shall continue to perform removal activities initiated by EPA. These activities include actions to mitigate pathways for vapors migrating into the Building, operate a soil vapor extraction system to address soil contamination and an air-?sparging system to address ground wa
