This ACO addresses violations regarding the National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) for Area Source Standards for Plating and Polishing Operations (Subpart WWWWWW) and the Illinois State Implementation Plan. Specifically, Electronic Plating Company (EPC) failed to record the wetting agent/fume suppressant addition to its nickel and cadmium electroplating tanks, submit Initial Compliance and Notification of Compliance Status reports, and failed to obtain an operating permit for its air emission sources. This ACO requires EPC to comply with all applicable requirements of the NESHAP, Subpart WWWWWW, and addresses the violations set forth in the NOV/FOV issued to EPC on August 12, 2014.
