On April 11, 2017, Region 10 settled with Mukilteo Powder Coating, Inc. dba Production Plating, Inc. for violations of EPCRA ? 312 for failure to report storage of sulfuric acid and other hazardous chemicals at its facility in Mukilteo, Washington. Section 312 of EPCRA requires annual reporting which supports emergency planning efforts at the state and local levels and provides the public and local governments with information concerning potential chemical hazards present in their communities. Production Plating agreed to pay a penalty of $87,028.
