On June 26, 2017, Region 10 filed an Expedited Settlement Agreement and Final Order resolving violations of the Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule under TSCA to Roy Briley Property Services located in Anchorage, Alaska. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) alleged violations included failure to obtain an initial firm certification from the EPA while performing renovation work on pre-1978 residential properties; and failure to retain all records for a period of three years following completion of the renovation activities as required by the RRP Rule. Roy Briley Property Services has agreed to pay a penalty amount of $400 to resolve the violations.
