On May 24, 2017, Region 10 filed a consent agreement and final order that resolves violations of EPCRA � 313 by Dyno Battery Inc. at its facility in Seattle, Washington. EPA alleged that Dyno Battery failed to report its release of lead, a persistent, bio-accumulative toxin, to the Toxics Release Inventory in 2013. Dyno Battery�s failure to report deprived the public of timely and accurate data regarding pollution in the community. The company has returned to compliance and agreed to pay an $8,500 penalty.
