On November 17, 2016 EPA sent a Request for Information Pursuant to Section 112(a) of the Clean Air Act to the Illinois Road Contractors, Inc. - Meredosia Terminal ( Respondent ) to determine compliance with the Risk Management Program regulations promulgated pursuant to Section 112(r) of the Act. EPA found that the Respondent had violated the regulation by failing to comply with the requirement to resubmit its risk management plan at least every five years. The civil penalty for this violation was $2,000.
