On May 24, 2017, Region 10 issued a consent agreement and final order to The Glass Nook Inc. located in Richland, Washington for violations of the Renovation, Repair and Painting Rule (RRP). The EPA alleged that The Glass Nook failed to become RRP firm and renovator certified and failed to follow lead-safe work practices while performing renovation work on pre-1978 residential properties as required by the RRP. The Glass Nook agreed to pay a penalty of $3,760.
