Under an Administrative Settlement Agreement and Order on Consent, a potentially responsible party, ITT, LLC, has agreed to perform an engineering evaluation and cost analysis (?EE/CA?) at the Keddy Mill Superfund Site, a National Priorities? List site in Windham, Maine. The study will consider alternatives for addressing the threats posed by the large, contaminated former facility building located on the Site. The facility building is abandoned, in poor condition, and is contaminated with high levels of PCBs. The State of Maine, as the support agency, was involved in planning for these negotiations.
