On May 24, 2016, Weatherford Artificial Lift in Longview TX was inspected pursuant to EPCRA 313 (reporting toxic chemical releases and other waste management activities) and two (2) reporting violations were discovered. The facility failed to report lead for RY 2011 and 2012. A CAFO was filed with the Regional Hearing Clerk and sent to the facility on June 22, 2017. The facility will have 30 days from the date of filing to pay the final assessed penalty of $24,080 as set forth in the CAFO. Information collected pursuant to EPCRA 313 supports informed decision-making by industry, government, non-governmental organizations, and the public, while at the same time encouraging facilities to reduce emissions by providing amounts of toxic chemicals released to air, land, and water, as well amounts waste managed for an entire calendar year. EPCRA 313 is a non-state delegated program.
