AO CWA-02-2015-3035 was issued to the Respondent with a compliance schedule to meet the limitation of nitrosophenylamine as required by its industrial user permit. In response to the 2015 order, the Respondent provided supporting documents that interference with analytical testing method was the issue. The Respondent has been working to seek approval for an alternative testing procedure. Amended order CWA-02-2017-3001 was issued to incorporate a revised schedule for the Respondent to attain final compliance. A second amended order is being issued to allow additional time for the Respondent to work with NYSDEC and NYSDOH to resolve remaining analytical issues.
