On June 26, 2017, Region 5 executed an Expedited Settlement Agreement (ESA) with Think Painting, Inc. The ESA commences and concludes a proceeding identifying alleged violations of the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA), specifically of the Renovation, Repair, and Painting Rule (RRP Rule). Region 5 alleged that in calendar year 2017, Think Painting, Inc. failed to retain all records necessary to demonstrate compliance with RRP Rule for a period of 3 years following completion of renovation activities. Think Painting, Inc. paid a $200 penalty.
